Ed Emberley

I had his Finger Print book when I was a kid among others. I love his style, and the reasons he does what he does. Find inspiration where you can. :)

Photo additives

I was in Chicago recently and went to the previously called Sears Tower. Great views and photo op. Some of the photos, although great scenic shots missed some content for me. So I thought I would share this modified Picture of Chicago with you. It's not complete, but thought it might inspire some.

Stuck

This painting was left out of the "Happy Hour" show I was recently in due to a, "now what" moment.
It needs something else to me and I haven't been able to think of the right add on. I have an idea, but not 100% sold on it. So we'll call this the Before. Stay tuned for the After.

The Latest

This was a piece I did for Screaming Sky Gallery here in Portland, for their show "Dia de los Muertos."
It's called "His name was Steve." There might be a prequel to this one with Steve facing the Chupacabra.  ;o)

SORRY EVERYONE...

So sorry I haven't posted anything for soo long. I started to get into photography, thinking I would try some stop motion down the line. Then taxes came and went and things got crazy.
Then thinking I would start fresh, I started an other blog for mostly sketches. Thinking that would spark me to draw more, and it did...for a while. Now I'm just stretched between too many things.

Well here's where I'm at. I have an Art show coming up in July with my good friend Tyler Brown. I'm going to open a web site for various things, but I will keep this blog connected with the site. The site should hold the bulk of my things all in one place and have this to add to and keep going.

I hope this works.

The Start to the 011

I'm gonna try to make this year a painting year, and try to have at least one show. Here is the first of what I hope will be many more for the 011.
